My official review of the Wii? It’s a great toy for parties, and can be fun for solo-gaming. The machine is NOT a replacement or competition for X-Box 360 or PS3. People who say it is are just hyped up fanboys. It’s a different kind of thing.

For instance, Call of Duty 3 on this thing doesn’t compare visually to other versions. BUT, the way you play is cool (if not tiring). I’d probably almost rather just use a regular game pad on some of the more “normal” games. But Wii is fun for stuff like Golfing, Bowling, Baseball….Madden is a hoot. Actually having to perform the actions physically is engaging and adds a new dimension to gaming.

BUT, if money was no object, I’d have all three consoles. Hell, I probably will eventually because I have technology problems. But the Wii should not exclude you from wanting and having a superior machine impressive graphics. IMHO.
