More On Shingles

So, shingles is the grown up version of Chickenpox. The Chickenpox virus stays in your system forever. And one day, maybe you find yourself with a ton of stress. Or you have been sick for a while with a bad cold. Or whatever. In your weakened condition, you could get The Shingles. The crafty little virus wakes up, creeps along your nerves (literally) and causes a nasty rash. And pain. And pain. With a side order of pain.

You might think you have poison ivy. I mean, the rash is pretty poison ivy looking. But, the symptom that should clue you in is the pain. Because, it turns out, shingles hurts. With pain.

There you go. You now know enough about shingles to make the right guess at trivia night.
