…any business whose focus is creating “mobile specific” web interfaces is doomed. And useless. Devices don’t need your specialty interface, they just need a big screen and a real web browser.

I will have to disagree with you on this one.
I believe mobile applications have infinite potential.
Having a big screen sacrifices flexibility.
As more data is integrated into our lives, the killer apps will be location based.
