So I noticed that my Google ads are occassionaly pointing to things I don’t support — anti-Bush stuff or Socialist/Democrat/Communist stuff. The trick is, the ads are based on words that it finds on my site, and the ads themselves are pretty random. So if you see some hippie stuff show up, just ignore it. I’m not a Democrat, nor am I interested in them getting clicks because of me. I’m a Smithist, and we believe in personal (individual) liberty (not socialism), freedom and justice. Like Superman, only less corny.

It’s been stressful lately. I think I’m in one of those weird periods of time where I have about 20,000 things I want to do, but only have time for the things I have to do. My weeks are full of work, my weekends are gettings monotonous…we work, we clean, we mow…feed the dogs…make the dinner…go to bed…you get the drift.

This certainly isn’t a tirade against marriage, btw — that was the best thing that ever happened to me! If I wasn’t married to the smartest, most beautiful woman in the world I’d probably be a fat bartender, checking out my comb over while alcoholics berate me for skimping on the vodka.

It’s more about having a moment where you look around and wonder if you are selling too much of yourself for too little. Know what I mean? I need more fishing and less stressing.

Well, don’t stress on my account, gentle viewer. It will pass, and I’ll be back out there swinging at the fences tomorrow!! And we have a nice vacation coming up in October that will certainly help me feel a little better about things. Whoo Hoo!
